CONCLUSION: Lack of medical knowledge can’t explain why doctors are getting fooled by medical fraudsters.

REASONING: Doctors have plenty of medical knowledge.

ANALYSIS: The argument shows one situation where lack of medical knowledge is a problem. Then it shows that doctors aren’t vulnerable, because they have medical knowledge.

  1. Read the second to last sentence. Doctors are vulnerable, they often fall for scams.
  2. The argument isn’t arguing against any hypothesis.
  3. Read the last sentence. The argument says doctors do have much medical knowledge.
  4. CORRECT. ‘Disanalogous’ just means different. Doctors and regular people are different in that doctors have much medical knowledge.
  5. The argument said that the explanation (lack of knowledge) should not be accepted in the case of doctors.
